Refund policy

Returns & Shipping Policy

By placing an order with Milk & Bed, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.


Change of Mind

Due to health and hygiene reasons, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind on used or opened bedding including fitted sheets, pillowcases, and quilt covers.

If your item is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging, we may accept a return within 30 days of delivery.

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
This applies to both domestic and international orders. For international returns, customers are responsible for arranging and covering all return shipping costs, including any duties, taxes, or associated fees.

Once your return is received and inspected, a store credit or refund will be issued.

To request a return, please email hello@milkandbed.com.au with your order number, reason for return, and item details.


Damaged or Faulty Items

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees your rights in relation to faulty or damaged goods.

Please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order with clear photos and your order number if your item:

  • arrives damaged
  • has a manufacturing fault
  • is significantly different from the description

We will offer a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the situation and your preference.

For international orders, where a return is required due to a confirmed fault, we will work with you to provide a suitable resolution.


Lost or Delayed Deliveries

If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact the shipping carrier directly using your tracking number.

Once orders have been dispatched, delivery timeframes are estimates only. Delays caused by carriers, customs processing (for international orders), or external factors are outside our control.


Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags and packaging intact
  • be lodged within 10 days of delivery
  • be returned to our nominated address before a refund or store credit is issued

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost or missing return parcels.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email and process your refund or store credit within 10 business days.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.
For international orders, original shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind after 30 days from delivery.

Faulty or defective items may still be eligible for a remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you would like a different item, we recommend returning your original item (if eligible) for a store credit and placing a new order.


Sale & Clearance Items

Clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged unless deemed faulty.

All clearance items are clearly marked on the product page at the time of purchase.

This applies to clearance-only items and does not include bundle discounts, promotional offers, or referral discounts, our standard policy applies to all other sale items.


Important Notes for International Orders

  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance
  • If a parcel is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to unpaid duties or incorrect address details, return shipping and any associated fees will be deducted from the refund
